A Night in Bloom is an events only florist; which is owned by Heather Forrest-Lundy, a floral designer who grew tired of working for traditional storefront florists.  Heather has over 18 years of professional full-time floral and interior design experience.  Her small business adventure began in her home studio, where she worked for the first two years, until outgrowing the space and moving into a loft in the historic Shirt Factory, in Kingston, NY.  In 2012 she outgrew that space and moved into an even larger space right down the hall.

Heather lives a blissful existence with her husband, Bryan; and two children, Matthew and Violet.  Heather's work has been published in many print publications and blogs including: Style Me Pretty, Well Wed (Magazine and blog), The Knot (Magazine and blog), DIY Bride, The Plunge Project, Borrowed and Bleu, Blue Collar Bride, Mountain Side Bride, Organic Hudson Valley Magazine, and Ideal Home and Garden.  She has been mentioned in Florists' Review Magazine, and on Preston Bailey's blog, which she considers two of her biggest honors.  A Night in Bloom has received the Couple's Choice Award in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.  This award places A Night in Bloom in the top 5% of wedding vendors, and is determined by newlywed couples.

There is not a day that goes by where Heather isn't thankful for being able to do what she loves for a living!

He who is born with a silver spoon in his mouth is generally considered a fortunate person, but his good fortune is small compared to that of the happy mortal who enters this world with a passion for flowers in his soul.
